LAKE HARTWELL (FOX Carolina) – The US Army Corps of Engineers said Thursday that boat Ramps on Lake Hartwell on the Savannah River are reopening to the public on May 15. Campgrounds will reopen on May 18.
The Savannah District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Hartwell Lake Office and the Lake Hartwell Association (LHA) invite local residents, scout groups, civic clubs, and other potential volunteers to join year-round efforts in maintaining a clean and inviting environment for all lake visitors. As always, your help is needed! Volunteers from scout groups, civic clubs, local residents, businesses, family units and friends of the lake are needed to pick up litter and other non-natural debris on and around Hartwell Lake.
